1. Is it easy to buy online from Workshop Direct?

Yes. You can select from our main categories on the home page or under ‘products’ in the main menu and then select the product you wish to purchase. Confirm the quantity you require and then click on the shopping basket button.

2. Can I order by phone?

Yes. You can place an order by calling 0121 725 1234 between 8.00am and 4.45pm Monday - Thursday and 8.00am and 4.15pm on Friday.

3. Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by credit or debit card from the following cards; VISA, Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Maestro.

4. Is the Workshop Direct ordering and payment systems secure?

Yes. Workshop Direct have a fully secure operating system (SSL) protocol with an encryption (the highest level commercially available) to collect your personal details and payment information.

5. Do your prices include VAT?

All prices quoted are pre-VAT. VAT is added at the end of the payment process. VAT is at the UK rate of 20%.

6. Is there a minimum order value?

No, there is no minimum order value, although a delivery charge of £4.00 will be payable (excluding VAT) for goods ordered under £100.00.


7. How do I know if the product is out of stock and what do I do if I want that particular product?

If the product is out of stock, there will be a flag on the product page stating ‘Out of Stock.’ Workshop Direct try to ensure that where possible, out of stock items are replaced as soon as the product is available. If you urgently require a particular product that has an out of stock flag, please call our sales desk on 0121 725 1234 and the order will put on a back order to be fulfilled when it is back in stock.

8. How are your products packed?

Products are packed in suitable packing material and put into an outer box to avoid damage when in transit.

9. Do the products come with instructions?

Yes. All the Workshop Direct products come complete with instructions. These will be in the product box.

10. Are your products "EU" tested?

Yes. The Workshop Direct product range are all EU compliant for specific product information.


11. How are the products delivered and what are the costs?

Products are delivered to the card holder’s address by carrier. The product will only be delivered to the card holder’s address for security purposes.

The delivery cost is £4.00 +VAT for orders placed under £100.00. For orders exceeding £100.00, the delivery is free of charge.

12. When will the products be delivered?

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Workshop Direct shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Risk of loss or damage of products will pass to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
