How to Place an Order

Placing an order with Workshopdirect is quick, easy and secure. There's no need to create an account first. You automatically create an account when you place your first order online. (We cannot accept orders by phone, fax, or e-mail. All orders must be placed online.)

Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order:

1.     Find the products you want to buy

2.     Add them to Your Shopping Cart

3.     Proceed to Checkout

4.     Enter a Shipping Address

5.     Review and Submit Your Order

6.     Provide Payment Information

7.     Your order is now Complete
 

1. Find the Items You Want

First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. You will also find links to browse lists and menu’s. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its product detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including detailed descriptions, product images, videos and related content

2. Add the Items to Your Shopping Basket

If you want to order an item from uk.workshopdirect.com, click the red "Add to Cart" button  on the item's product detail page. Once you've added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching or browsing until your basket contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Basket at any time by clicking on the View Cart link on the shopping cart towards the top right corner of every page

3. Proceed to Checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. To view your shopping cart click on the small cart towards the top right hand corner of everypage, and select view cart.

Note: The cart will only be displayed if you have added an item to it.

At this stage you can review what’s in your cart, if there’s an item you’ve forgotten to add to your cart, you can click the continue shopping button. If you want to change the quantity of the products in your cart simply click on the number field, entered the desired amount and click the update button.

Once you are happy, click the checkout button to proceed

4. Enter a Delivery Address

At the top of the checkout page you can see a summary of the products that you are ordering, prices excluding VAT, prices including VAT, Sub Total and Total.

Then in the section that says Delivery address, please enter your full address, making sure that all the details are correct. The Delivery costs will be calculated depending on what country the Delivery address is.

Then you can enter an alternate Billing address or just tick the box to make it the same as the Delivery address.

Then once this has been done, continue down the page, checking that you are happy with the delivery cost, view the total.

Then tick the box to accept our terms and conditions, to view the terms and conditions please click on the word terms and conditions.

5. Review and Submit your order

The next step is to review your order, on the Checkout page click the Review Order button. This will take you to a page that shows you a summary of the order, it will confirm the following details -

- Shopping cart contents
- Account information
- Delivery & shipping address
- Shipping cost
- Order Total
- Payment method

If you are happy with all of these, please click the submit button to enter your payment details

6. Provide Your Payment Information

The next step is to enter your Card details, once complete you will go through to the order confirmation page.

Please Note: This is fully secure. Our site used 256 Bit encryption verified by GoDaddy, and we use SagePay to process the payment. We are fully PCI-DSS Compliant, all your data is fully encrypted throughout the whole checkout process. 7. Your Order is Now Complete

Your order is now complete. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your order, including an order number which you can use if you have any queries.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an e-mail with the delivery details on. This will include your tacking number.

Depending on the shipping destination this will be either TNT or FedEx.
